Panthers knocked out of Top 25

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- Saturday's loss at Bradley did more than end a six game winning streak for UNI.

The 68-59 loss to the Braves in Peoria, Illinois also knocked the Panthers out of the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

UNI received 74 votes to Richmond's 101 votes.  Richmond sits in the #25 spot in the poll.

UNI was ranked 19th in the same poll last week.

The Panthers are ranked #24 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll this week.

They were ranked #18 in that poll last week.

The Panthers have four games left to play in the regular season, including three home games against Creighton, Old Dominion and Illinois State.

The lone road game left on the schedule is a February 23rd game at Evansville.

The Panthers will have to play Creighton, Old Dominion and Evansville without the services of Senior center Jordan Eglseder who was suspended for three games after being arrested for OWI on Sunday.
