Brown's OT goal lifts Black Hawks over Sioux Falls

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- J.T. Brown scored just 2:49 into overtime to give Waterloo a 4-3 victory over Sioux Falls, while pushing the Black Hawks 2 games over .500 for the first time this season.

Sioux Falls had to rally to tie the game in the third period with Waterloo leading 2-0 thanks to first period goals from Brown and Jon Puskar, who scored for the first time as a Black Hawk.  The Stampede got goals from Matt Lindblad and Conor Allen to knot the score at 2 apiece.

Tyler Barnes goal with 1:27 left in the game appeared to be the winner, but Sioux Falls again rallied with Michael Voran scoring just 34 seconds later to send the game to OT.

The win is the 9th for Waterloo in their last 12 contests.
