Home Show has many thinking Spring

WATERLOO (KWWL) - Many eastern Iowans are thinking Spring and ready to spend money on home improvements.  This weekend's Eastern Iowa Home Improvement and Landscaping Show at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo is attracting people looking to fix up their home.  Organizers say not only are they seeing more people in attendance this year, but more vendors, too.  They say it's an indication of a better economy than this time last year.

"Most people are coming for ideas. They can't buy a roof or siding or landscape a garden here but they can get ideas and compare windows, sidings, ideas for landscapes, get ideas then decide who they want to get a quote from," said show producer Barbara Miller.

The home show continues in Waterloo this weekend.  Admission is $6.  Proceeds go to the Waterloo Exchange Club for service projects.
