Police make arrest in Dubuque robbery

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -- Police have arrested one man in connection with a robbery at Friendly Locust Mart on Monday.

Danny Boyd, 26, was arrested at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on Friday morning after being interviewed by investigators.

On Monday, a clerk told police that two men followed him back into the store after he finished smoking a cigarette. One man displayed a knife and demanded money. One man took money from the register, while the other took merchandise from the store.

Police are still looking for a second suspect, described as a black man, ages 18-25, 5'8", 160 pounds, short hair and brown eyes. Police say he has a thin face and was wearing a dark stocking cap and multi-colored hooded sweatshirt.
