Drinking green tea may be able to reduce the risk for lung cancer -- even among smokers.
Researchers in Taiwan compared the green tea drinking habits of 170 patients with lung cancer, to over 300 people without the disease.
They found smokers and non-smokers who did *not* drink green tea had a five times greater risk for lung cancer than those who regularly had the beverage.
The risk was even greater when the researchers looked at smokers alone.
