Police: man shot at woman with kids

WATERLOO (KWWL) - A Waterloo man has been arrested in connection with an October shooting.

Police said Taefon Ladale Anderson opened fire on Natasha McBride as she left a Newell Street house with her two children and got into a vehicle at about 2:27 a.m. Oct. 11, according to court records.

No one was injured. Police found a number of 9mm shell casings at the scene.

Court records state there were ongoing problems between Anderson and an acquaintance of McBride, including an altercation earlier that night.

Black Hawk County sheriff's deputies arrested Anderson Jan. 1 on Flammang Drive on a warrant for intimidation with a dangerous weapon. Bond was set at $35,000.
