Waterloo Police arrest four in connection with recent shootings

WATERLOO (KWWL) -  The Waterloo Police Department has arrested four people in connection with two drive-by shootings incidents that were reported Wednesday, December 30, 2009. 

In the first incident officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1824 E. 4th Street at about 1:30 PM.  Later the same day officers also responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Sumner Street shortly before 8 p.m.  During the investigation of this incident officers found the house at 418 Cottage Street had been struck by shotgun pellets.

Police arrested 18-year-old Telly Nix and charged him with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, carrying weapons and felon in possession of a firearm.

16-year-old Jack Burnside was arrested and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon and carrying weapons in connection with the December 30th crime.

16-year-old Adrian Walker and 15-year-old Kenneth Ford were arrested and charged with the same crimes.
