Posted:

MARION (KWWL) -- Marion Police are now offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a man that robbed the Linn County State Bank at 1295 Blairs Ferry Road NE on Wednesday.

Police say a man walked into the bank at around 9:50 a.m. Wednesday morning, got an undisclosed amount of cash and then walked out, heading south on foot.

The man was wearing a dark brown Carhart coat, blue jeans, a white mask and gloves and black and white tennis shoes.

Police say the man showed a handgun during the robbery but, no one was injured.

This same bank was robbed back in March.

Police arrested 19-year old Chaka Cavin and 21-year old Jesse Alford, both of Cedar Rapids, in connection with that robbery.

Police found money along with a ski mask, gloves and a leather coat used in the robbery in Alford's apartment.

Alford remains behind bars.
