UPDATE: Injured jogger identified

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Waterloo Police have identified the jogger that was found injured on Sunday afternoon.

While police have not released her name, they say she's been identified and the public's help is no longer needed in this case.  

At approximately 3:30PM, Waterloo Police and Fire Department personnel were sent to the 2200 block of Ansborough Avenue on a report that a female jogger had collapsed and was in need of medical attention.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

The victim is described as White, 20-30 years old. She is about 5'-5'2" tall and 110-120 pounds. She has brown hair worn in a ponytail and green eyes. The woman has a tattoo of a blue flower on the outside of her right ankle and a large possible surgical scar on the inside of her right knee.

At the time of the incident she was wearing black nylon Adidas brand running pants with bright green stripes on the sides, a dark gray sweatshirt, Nike brand running shoes, a black headband and purple gloves. She wore no wedding ring or other jewelry.
