UPDATE: Robbery suspects likely used stolen minivan

DUBUQUE (KWWL) - Police are looking for at least two suspects who took money near an ATM at a bank in Dubuque.  They say two bank employees were near the ATM at the time.

Police say the suspects are believed to be men.  Their faces were concealed at the time of the robbery.

Officers took a 911 call just before 8:45 a.m. and responded to the U.S. Bank on John F. Kennedy Road near the Kennedy Mall.

Police blocked off the area with crime scene tape and took a dark red van from the scene that police believe is involved.  The van was reported stolen from a Dubuque address earlier this week.

Dispatchers across northeast Iowa say they have been told to keep an eye out for an early 80's white Impala or something similar.

The robbery happened in the ATM area of U.S. Bank shortly before the bank opened for business.

Hoover Elementary and Kennedy Elementary were put on an external lockdown at 9:00 a.m.
The lockdown was lifted at 10:15.

Bank officials say the JFK branch of US Bank will be closed all day Thursday and the branch will reopen Friday morning.
