DUBUQUE (KWWL) —The Dubuque Racing Association Ltd. (DRA), license holder and operator of Mystique Casino, announced at its December Board of Directors meeting Tuesday, that it will distribute $1.25 million through its Grant Awards Program.

During the past 25 years, the DRA has given $142 million back to the city and nonprofit organizations through its distribution program. In addition, the DRA paid the city $7,208,479 in lease payments and $314,602 in gaming taxes from its 2009 fiscal year operations.

The DRA Grant Award Program is open to organizations holding a proper IRS Section 501(c)(3) or equivalent tax-exempt status. Applications for the 2010 fiscal year Grant Award Program are available now at Mystique Casino, 1855 Greyhound Park Road, Dubuque, Iowa or can be downloaded at www.mystiquedbq.com/dra.
