Cedar Rapids Asks for Urban Design Input

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- The City of Cedar Rapids is asking families for feedback about future plans for the community.  This week, the city is beginning a five-month long process to provide information and gather input on principles for designing new development.

Tuesday night is the first Urban Design Principals Open House.  You're asked to join other residents anytime from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom.  The Open House continues Wednesday afternoon from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The City is asking residents to look at several display boards and provide feedback on cards.  There will also be a quarterly update on the implementation of Neighborhood Revitalization Action Plans.
