Truck careens into Florida home of Waterloo native

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WESH/KWWL) - An Orange County house has been condemned after a truck smashed into the walls in the middle of the night Sunday.

The truck came careening in just before 3 a.m. Sunday at a home on South Crystal Lake Drive.

Witnesses said the truck was speeding down the road when it went airborne and crashed into the house.

One woman who was sleeping inside was not hurt.

"No, I thought we were being bombed, then I walked by the refrigerator and saw there was no wall and everything was everywhere," homeowner Wanda Brousseau said.

Brousseau is a Waterloo native. Her maiden name is Wanda Rash.

The truck's driver was taken to the hospital.

Investigators said charges are pending. They are trying to determine if alcohol was involved.
