2 men arrested on drug charges in Dubuque

DUBUQUE (KWWL) - Authorities in Dubuque say they have arrested two Chicago men in what they say was a guns for cocaine sting.  Sgt. Dale Snyder of the Dubuque Drug Task Force says 22-year-old Deandre Rajay Murphy, 18-year-old Shelby Lee Redmond were arrested Friday after a two-month investigation of crack cocaine distribution in Dubuque.  Snyder says the agency and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement conducted a controlled delivery in which guns were to be exchanged for crack cocaine.  During the controlled delivery, Murphy and Redmond were arrested on warrants for delivery of crack cocaine, and each was additionally charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver.  Deputies at the Dubuque County Jail said Friday night they did not know whether either man had an attorney.
