WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The Iowa Department of Public Health announced Thursday that 3 more people have died from the H1N1 flu, including a child from eastern Iowa.
The IDPH did not say what county the child was from, but said the child had risk factors that increased the chance of complications with the virus.
The other two deaths were adults in Hamilton and Lee Counties, both with risk factors that increased the likelihood of complications from H1N1.
So far, 36 Iowans have died from H1N1 and nearly 700 have been hospitalized.
