Buying prescription drugs in a three-month supply instead of one month at a time could cut your medication costs by 18- to 30-percent.
That's according to a University of Chicago analysis of more than 26-thousand prescriptions filled.
Experts there say prescription drugs are one of the fastest rising health care costs. Switching to generics can also save consumers money.
