Cedar Rapids holding final two flood recovery open houses

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Cedar Rapids residents will have two more opportunities to give their input on flood recovery.

The city will be holding two public open houses at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom at 350 First Avenue NE.

The first will be from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, the second on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m..

This is the third and final set of open houses.  One side of the room will feature recommended options for rebuilding city facilities, the other side will feature the recommended options for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Residents can attend anytime during the scheduled times and will be asked to examine both displays and provide feedback on cards and kiosks.

The public feedback received through this process will be used to guide the City Council’s decision-making process.

You can review feedback already received online at www.corridorrecovery.org/cropenhouse.
