MASON CITY (AP)--A central Illinois auctioneer has added an extra skill to his resume.
Frank Bowman of Pleasant Plains graduated earlier this year from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa.
He added land auction services to his resume. And while he was there, he became certified as a bilingual -- English-Spanish -- auctioneer.
Bowman sees that as something that's becoming, if not a necessity, at least a useful tool in his business. He hasn't yet conducted an auction in Spanish. But he says he hopes to be able to put his skill to use at some point.
