Congressman Braley visits Dyersville library

WASHINGTON, DC (KWWL) - Bruce Braley visited the James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville Tuesday to discuss the importance of expanding rural broadband access.

“It’s important that we continue to secure funding for broadband access. Public libraries in rural areas have a unique opportunity to provide educational materials to school children and other members of the community. I’m proud to have helped obtain grant money that has deployed broadband access to underserved areas," said Braley.

Braley helped secure $7.2 billion in grants through stimulus money made available to the USDA to provide for rural broadband access.
