3 Iowa organizations to split $215 million stimulus

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The U.S. Treasury department has awarded 215 million dollars in tax credits to three Iowa-based organizations. It's part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

According to Senator Tom Harkin, 80 million dollars will go to Rural Development Partners of Mason City, 70 million dollars to Iowa Community Development of Johnston, and 65 million dollars to Midwest Renewable Capital of Grimes. All three organizations promote agribusiness and alternative energy in our state.
