4A Substate: Cedar Rapids Washington Beats North Scott 42-21

Posted:
It was the MVC Conference vs. The Mac Conference at Kingston Stadium.  Tied 14 to 14 in the 3rd quarter between Cedar Rapids Washington and North Scott, the Warriors made a crucial error when Ronnie Henderson fumbled the punt.  North Scott recovered on the Wash 27 yard line and would eventually score to take the lead.

The Warriors didn't give up, on 4th & 1 Alex Carr would score on a43 yard touch down strike to tie the game.  Then on the next series on 2nd down, it would be Carr again scoring on  a 63 yard run as Wash downed North Scott 42-21.

The Warriors will most likely face rival Kennedy who upset Bettendorf on the road.
