Walking your way through illness

The best thing you can have to prevent the common cold this winter might be a pair of walking shoes.

Studies have shown people who exercise consistently take up to half the time off of work because of sickness.

And experts say that just because you're a little bit under the weather, doesn't mean you can't get out for a brisk walk.

If a cold has not moved to your chest, feel free to exercise, they say -- but don't over-exert yourself. Stick to walking instead of running.
