CLAYTON COUNTY (KWWL) - A Clayton County Sheriff's deputy used his gun after a high speed chase.

The Sheriff's Department says just after midnight Sunday morning, a Clayton County deputy got into a high-speed pursuit with a 35-year-old suspect in the town of Luana.

The two then got into a fight. According to authorities, the deputy was then involved in a "duty-related shooting". Both were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released.
