Hawks' Chaney Out for the Season

The eleventh ranked Iowa Hawkeyes will be without their fastest player for the rest of the season.

Hawk receiver-returnman Paul Chaney Junior tore an ACL in one of his knees and will miss the rest of the 2009 season.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz says it was a clean tear--and Chaney should return strong as ever for his senior year.

The loss of Chaney will mean Colin Sandeman will return kicks and punts for the Hawks and it could mean more playing time for Keenan Davis the outstanding true freshman out of Cedar Rapids Washington.
