Miscarriage treatment doesn't affect fertility

Posted:
WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The type of treatment a woman gets after an early miscarriage likely does not affect her future fertility, according to a recent study.

About 15% of pregnancies end in an early miscarriage -- before the fetus reaches 13 weeks.

Researchers compared the fertility rates of more than 750 women with an early miscarriage. About 80% had a successful birth within five years -- no matter what type of treatment they received.
