No contract yet for John Deere employees

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The clocking is ticking for John Deere's hourly union employees as contract negotiations continue.

The current contract for those workers ends at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday night, and as of this afternoon, a new contract has yet to be agreed upon.

Last week we told you that more than 98% of union members voted to give themselves the ability to strike if necessary.

The contract covers more than 9,500 hourly, union represented workers at John Deere's 15 facilities in Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Colorado and Georgia.
