Ferentz Looks to Continue Mastery of Joe Pa and Penn State

Posted:
Penn State head coach Joe Paterno may be the winningest coach in college football, but the Legend of Happy Valley is only 2-6 in head to head meetings with Iowa Hawkeye head coach Kirk Ferentz. The Hawkeyes and the fifth ranked Nittany Lions open the Big 10 football season this Saturday in State College, Pennsylvania. Both teams come in unbeaten at 3 and 0, but a little dinged up.  The Hawkeyes may be without the services of three experienced players, offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga, tight end Tony Moeaki and receiver D.J. Koulianos. Penn State linebacker Sean Lee, the team leader in tackles and sacks is also questionable for Saturday night's game.
