Cascade beats 3rd ranked Sumner-Fred

CASCADE (KWWL)- Friday nigth was quiet a match up as Cascade hosts Sumner-Fredricksberg. Leading into the game Sumner- Fred beat their first three opponents 124-0. Not to mention these two teams have the same mascot (Cougars) and colors (blue and yellow). The score proves it's not easy to confuse the two teams.

For highlights purposes: Cascade in the dark, Sumner-Fredricksberg in the whites. The teams shaking hands to start off the night.

We pick it up in the first quarter. Cascade quarterback Connor Redman hands off to Tanner Coyle. He makes it look so easy. As he's taken down near the 25 yardline.

Next play. Evan Ressler steps over the defense and takes it in for a quick six. 7-0 Cascade.

Next Sumner-Fredriskberg with the ball. Cascades defense comes up here as Stephen Reiter blocks this one.

Now we take it to the second quarter. Redman this time with the hail mary pass to Jesse Beringer. He grabs the ball and takes it in for a 98 yard touchdown. Its 14-0 Cascade.

But Sunmer-Fredricksberg wasn't finished. Just before the half. Here they are with the fake. Fooled me. Brady Meyer sneaks passed everyone. Along the right side and in for six.

It's 14-7 at half. Sumner Fredriskberg comes back in the second. But they werne't able to pull off the win.

Cascade wins it 27-17.
