Ballots available for Iowa City primary

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- Ballots for the October 6th Iowa City primary election are now available at the Johnson County Auditor's Office. Ballots are available during regular business hours -- Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Satellite voting will also be available at the University of Iowa Main Library Wednesday, September 30th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.; the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics First Floor Atrium Lobby, Friday, October 2nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and the Iowa City Public Library Friday october 2nd from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 4th from noon to 5 p.m.

Ballots are also available by mail. Requests should be addressed to the Johnson County Auditor's office, 913 S. Dubuque St., Suite 101, Iowa City, IA 52240. Make sure to include your name, signature, current Johnson County address, the name and date of the election (October 6, 2009 city primary), and the address to which the ballot should be sent if it's different than the residence.
