Truck hauling PB&J sandwiches overturns on highway

SAGEVILLE (KWWL) - Crews expected clean-up to take up to 4 hours after a truck overturned on Highway 52 in Sageville Monday.
They had to move 20,000 pounds of Smuckers frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to a new truck.

The overturned semi is from Krajicek, Inc. in Denison and was headed for St. Paul, Minnesota.

The driver is not hurt.  He says he was headed north on a tight curve when his trailer slid off the road causing the truck to flip. He says this is the first time he was on this road.

Crews intermittently opened one lane of traffic to let some drivers through.
The highway was opened later Monday afternoon.
