IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Iowa City Police say an assault victim told them he was attacked because the suspect "didn't like the way he was looking at him and a female companion."  Police got the call around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.  The 27-year-old victim told police he was assaulted near the Deadwood Tavern on South Dubuque St.  He said he was punched in the jaw then fell down, hitting his head on a wall.  The victim had a 2 1/2 inch cut on the back of his head and was taken to the hospital.   The suspect is only described as a white man between 19 and 22.
