Bush daughter Jenna Hager becomes 'Today' reporter

NEW YORK (KWWL) - NBC's "Today" show has a new correspondent with White House experience.

She's Jenna Bush Hager, one of George W. Bush's twin daughters.

The show's executive producer says Hager will contribute stories about once a month on issues including education.

Hager is a teacher in Baltimore. She says she's always wanted to be a teacher and a writer, and she's already authored two books. But she says whe she was contacted about getting into TV, it was something that intrigued her.

She'll continue with her job at school, where she'll be a reading coordinator this year.

Producer Jim Bell says he got the idea after seeing Hager in two appearances on "Today," talking about her books.
