Two children from Waterloo killed in Minnesota crash

ALBERT LEA, Minn. (KWWL) - Two children were among the four people killed in a crash on I-90 near Albert Lea on Wednesday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a woman driving a Toyota swerved in front of a westbound semi around 2:30 p.m.

That caused the semi to swerve into oncoming traffic and collide head-on with a minivan.

The driver of the minivan, and two children inside were killed.

The kids are 13-year-old Bambi Khemphomma and 11-year-old Christi Khemphomma of Waterloo, Iowa.  The driver's name will be released after family members are notified.

The driver of the Toyota, 62-year-old Gloria Anderson of St. Charles, Illinois, was also killed.
