After a record 140 soldiers committed suicide last year -- a new army program will take a closer look at how troops handle stress.
All active-duty and reserve soldiers will be asked to take an online survey to assess their resiliency -- and will ask questions about how soldiers are feeling emotionally, spiritually and socially.
Commanders will not know how their soldiers score on the test. Army officials say it's necessary to teach soldiers adequate coping skills.
The comprehensive soldier fitness program will be launched in October.
