ST. LOUIS -- The University of Northern Iowa will have five of its football games broadcast live this season, including a pair of games as a part of the Missouri Valley Football-produced television package.

UNI's opening game of the season at Iowa Sept. 5 will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network. The Panthers' home opener against South Dakota will be telecast live on the Panther Sports Network (KWWL-TV) with a kick set for 4:05 p.m. in the UNI-Dome. UNI will be featured twice on the Missouri Valley Football Conference's television package with the Missouri State (Sept. 26) and North Dakota State (Oct. 10) games being broadcast. UNI's Senior Day game vs. Western Illinois on Nov. 11 will also be broadcast by the Panther Sports Network (KWWL-TV) with a kick slated for 6:35 p.m.

For the 11th-straight season, the Missouri Valley Football Conference is coordinating an in-house television package. The games will be produced for syndication on over-the-air and cable television stations throughout the Midwest. Each of the five conference-produced games will air live or taped on FS Midwest and Fox College Sports (FCS), which has a national distribution of seven million homes. Comcast SportsNet Chicago will also air select games of the league package.
