18-year-old arrested after threatening to kill security guard

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- A group of security guards say a man on a bicycle threatened to shoot anyone in uniform.

The guards, from Premiere Security, were patrolling at Dolphin Lake Point Enclave. They called police around 2 a.m. on Wednesday and reported a man shouting, "If I see you in uniform again, I will shoot you, kill you! I run this city! You rent-a-cops don't have anything on me!" The security guards told police the man was Sha-Juan Johnson.

Police had Johnson's address from previous trespass incidents at Dolphin Lake Point Enclave. Police say when they questioned Johnson at his apartment, he admitted to a conversation with the security guards, but he denied threatening to shoot them. Instead, Johnson said he asked the guards to perform a lewd act on him.

Johnson, 18, was charged with 1st degree harassment and trespassing.
