Annual Ding Darling Day in Dubuque July 18


DUBUQUE (News Release) -- The Dubuque County Historical Society's sixth annual Ding Darling Day will be held Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pfohl Boatyard Plaza at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. The event is free and open to the public; however, regular admission prices apply if visitors want to tour the Museum & Aquarium.

This year's Ding Darling Day will include craft activities, conservation agency presentations and animal programs including touch tanks that will hold turtles, frogs and mussels. Other scheduled activities include duck banding, wildlife watching, eagle nest and bird stations and live fish stations. Food and beverages will also be available to purchase in the boatyard during the event.
