Lindale Mall Fountain funds total nearly $8000



Cedar Rapids, IA -Immediately following the devastating Floods of 2008, the community looked for a way to help.  In response and with the blessing of the fountain's usual fund recipient The Make A Wish Foundation, Lindale Mall pledged the change collected from mall's fountain for the next year for Flood Relief.   The change collected each month from the fountain in Center Court was donated to The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation's Flood 2008 Fund. 

Lindale Mall shoppers and merchants responded by donating change totaling $7967.69

from July 1,2008 through June 30, 2009 to help support recovery and rebuilding efforts throughout Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities.
