Waterloo man arrested after eluding investigators

WATERLOO (KWWL) -  On Friday, a Black Hawk County Sheriff's Deputy spotted James Aldridge Jr, Age 46 of Waterloo at the intersection of W. 1st & Allen Streets in Waterloo.

Mr. Aldridge was wanted on arrest warrants for forgery, assault domestic abuse, theft in the third degree, violation of a no contact order and probation violation.

When the Deputy attempted to take Mr. Aldridge into custody he resisted arrest and the deputy was injured. Mr. Aldridge took off running. The deputy was taken to Allen Hospital where he was treated and released.

On Monday,  Mr. Aldridge was located by deputies at 200 Lafayette Street in Waterloo and taken into custody. In addition to the warrants he was also charged with assault on a peace officer causing injury, interference with official acts causing injury, interference with official acts and criminal mischief in the fifth degree.

Mr. Aldridge is currently being held in the Black Hawk County Jail without bond.
