Emerald Ash Borer meeting Tuesday

CLAYTON COUNTY (KWWL) -- After finding the larvae of the emerals ash borer locally, officials are educating Eastern Iowans.

The emerald ash borer are metallic green beetles that kills ash trees. So far the DNR is not calling this an infestation, but they are proceeding with caution.

Tuesday, the Iowa Department of Agriculture, the DNR and the Iowa State Extension will host a public meeting at 6:30 at the Osborne center in Clayton County.
