IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Iowa City police have located the second suspect in a weekend stabbing.

Police say a man was stabbed several times Saturday night at a home on East Bloomington Street.

Officers chased and caught one suspect, 22-year-old Harry Rayton IV. He's charged with attempted murder. Police say he was treated at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for injuries received during his arrest and due to his "extreme level of intoxication."

After searching for 19-year-old Adam Burkart, police were able to locate and arrest him in Cedar Rapids thanks to a CrimeStoppers tip. Burkart is charged with attempted murder.  He lives at the home where the assault happened.

Police say the victim is friends with both Rayton and Burkart. The victim told Burkart to quit coming into his room without knocking. Police say Burkart stabbed the victim six times in the chest, back and abdomen while screaming, "I'll kill you!" According to police, Rayton also punched and kicked the victim as he was being stabbed. The knife wounds were about five inches deep and near numerous vital organs. The victim, a 37-year old man, is still in the hospital.  Police say at this time, he's expected to survive.
