WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The number of children and adults diagnosed with depression has declined since 2003 -- the same year the FDA warned that antidepressants could be associated with increased suicidal thoughts among youth.
Researchers from the University of colorado, Denver made the connection. They say it may be because young people aren't seeking treatment for their symptoms.
