Waterloo MMA Fighter Prepares for Battle on Showtime

Waterloo's Josh Baumgartner is getting ready for the chance of a lifetime.

Baumgartner will be competing on Showtime --Saturday night in a "Strikeforce mixed martial arts event in St. Louis.

Baumgartner who fights on Russ O'Connell's team ROC-- has put on 25 pounds to fight St. Louis prospect Jesse Finney.

Another Waterloo and team ROC fighter, Jamie Meuther was also scheduled to fight Saturday night but his opponent suffered an injury during training.

Both Baumgartner and O'Connell have confidence good things will happen this weekend.
