I-Jobs board meets for first time

DES MOINES (KWWL) -- Eleven Iowans... deciding how to divide 830-million dollars... to put Iowans back to work.

Wednesday afternoon, the I-Jobs board met for the first time. The multimillion dollar bonding plan is supposed to fund building projects across the state.

The board is deciding where the money will go, while also fielding questions about whether it's creation is money well spent.

"Tare two goals: move fast, but make sure we're doing it the right way," Chairman Jeff Pomeranz said.
