Peering over hole number one at the General Golf Course at Eagle Ridge and you can see what inspired the artist Norman Rockwell. Sitting on more than 7000 acres of beautiful scenic rolling hills, The General is one of four courses at Eagle Ridge and is consistently ranked among the top 100 courses in the United States. But Eagle Ridge Marketing Director Paul Brown says the other three, the North, South and East courses provide golfers with they can't get anywhere else.

Former Iowa Hawkeye Golfer Erin Strieck is the Director of Golf at Eagle Ridge---over seeing the day to day operations of the four courses...

Rick Thomas co-founded Pioneer Communications and publishes Iowa Golf magazine. Thomas says the quality of the Eagle Ridge golf courses is highly underrated because it is not located in California, Florida or some other warm climate.
