Waiting for Justice Part 2: Tonight at Ten on KWWL

DYERSVILLE (KWWL) -- The criminal justice system is changing, with more technology, forensic tests, and investigative strategies.  It's also getting slower.  Tonight at ten, we continue a special assignment series: "Waiting for Justice."

Five months after a homicide in eastern Iowa, there are no charges, even though police have identified the shooter.  Now, the victim's family wants answers.

"Something seems funny. That's what I said to them too. Like I said, it's been five months. Why is not anything being done?" asked Dana Bond, the victim's mother.

"I don't understand. I just don't understand," said Jennifer Herman, the victim's sister.

Tonight on the KWWL News at Ten, we'll explain the case and hear a family's plea in part one of "Waiting for Justice."
