WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Researchers at Northwestern University have found a little bleach in the bath water might help treat chronic Eczema -- an itchy skin condition that can be difficult to treat.
For the study, kids took baths a few times a week with a half a cup of bleach dumped into their bathwater. After three months, those who took the special baths saw a significant improvement in the severity of the kids' eczema -- compared to kids who did not use bleach.
But, researchers warn parents not to try this at home without a doctor's instructions.
