4 charged in online prostitution sting in Iowa

IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Four people have been charged in an online prostitution sting in Iowa City.

Iowa City police say an undercover officer met 21-year-old Heather Brown, of Rock Island, Ill., at an area hotel after being contacted after viewing an online solicitation. Brown was later charged with prostitution but has not been arrested.

Forty-seven-year-old Samuel Scott, of Davenport, was arrested and charged with pimping after police say he drove Brown to appointments and collected the money she earned.

Twenty-year-old Kathleen McFadden and 26-year-old Lisa Nolker, both of Springfield, Ill., were charged with prostitution after police say they posted an ad for "encounters" on Craig's List and met an undercover officer at a local hotel.

McFadden and Nolker also were being sought.
