Feed My Starving Children event at Wartburg

WAVERLY (KWWL) The second annual Feed My Starving Children event at Wartburg College is May 2-5. It will involve 1,230 volunteers from the college and surrounding communities packing 175,000 meals to provide nutrients to starving children in more than 60 countries.
Last year, 540 volunteers packed 108,000 meals and raised $21,000. 
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization based in Minneapolis and committed to feeding hungry children. The Wartburg effort is sponsored by the Campus Ministry.
The packing shifts at the Wartburg maintenance facility (on 12th Street, north of West Bremer Avenue) are:
-   Saturday, May 2, noon-2 p.m., 2:30-4:30 p.m., and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
-   Sunday, May 3, noon-2 p.m., 2:30-4:30 p.m., 5-7 p.m., 7:30-9:30 p.m.
-   Monday, May 4, 1-3 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m.
-   Tuesday, May 5, 10 a.m.-noon., 1-3 p.m., 3:30-5:30 p.m.
