Lolo tears hamstring at Drake

Posted:
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Olympian Lolo Jones has tumbled again in the 100-meter hurdles.

The Des Moines native, who clipped a hurdle in Beijing last summer while leading the gold-medal race, hit another one at the Drake Relays in Des Moines.

It happened this afternoon in the women's invitational 100-meters.

Jones blames an injury, not the hurdle, in her inability to finish the race, which was won by Michigan<s Tiffany Ofili in 12.82 seconds.

Jones says she suffered a slight tear in her right hamstring. She says she had some discomfort and concerns with her right leg the last 10 days -- and hadn't run a full set of hurdles in that time.

Jones says the injury will knock her out of a meet on May 2 in Jamaica.
